Update on the Upcoming HOSLJ Investiture Service
Dear Knight’s, Dames, Commanders, Officers, and Members, Just a update for you on the upcoming HOSLJ Investiture Service:
1. If you do not have a Facebook page then please get one as we communicate on our page daily
2. Friday night September 18th is the Commander’s dinner – We are having a Mexican Fiesta – 19 food selections – Sangria- beer and wine – family style with entertainment! $100.00 Per person. A Commander may bring their members and officers that are attending the Investiture Service – FYI There are 7 weddings at The Mission Inn between Friday and Saturday – the restaurants are already booked so this is why I urge you to make sure to book the Friday night dinner so you will be able to have fun and actually have a meal Friday night without driving miles away. It is held in The Regency Ballroom at The Marriott 3400 Market Street Riverside CA from 4:30 pm – 8 pm. YOU MUST CALL ME AT 760-481-9773 to make the dinner reservations for this!

SALADS
· Ensalada de Nopales con Pico de Gallo.
· Carne Polaca Salad – Shredded beef with Potato, Peas, Carrots on Mini Totadas.
· Warm Rolls & Butter.
· Tacos Dorado of Birria with Onion Escabeche & Salsa Aguada de Oregano.
· Chicken Yucatan Style – Artichoke Narinated, Red Mole Sauce.
· Shrimp A’la Diabla – Sun Blass Style, Capers, Lemmons, Red Spicey Sauce.
ON THE SIDE
· Cheese Enchiladas in Green Sauce.
· Salsa Verde, Crema Agria & Queso Panela.
· White Rice Baja Style.
· Carrots, Corn & Peas.
· Fried Beans with Rancho Style Chorizo.
· Tortilla Chips with Salsa Fresca.
DESERTS
· Jericallas, Flan Style with Orange Caramel Glaze.
· Bread Pudding, El Patron Tequilla flavor cream sauce.
· Crispy Sweet Shells filled with Whipped Cream & Topped Fresh Fruit.
Hosted Beverages self-serve include Sangria Pitchers, Beers brands Corona, Tecate, Dos Equis, Modelo, and Pacifico which will be iced down for guests.
3. The Investiture Service – Saturday September 19, 2015 starts PROMPTLY at 1:00 this means be there at no later than 12:30 …NO Admittance will be permitted after 12:45 ! The service is from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm. It is a jam packed service. So far we have 18 postulates. The service is held at The Saint Francis of Assisi Chapel on the property of the Mission Inn. We also have a wedding blessing at the end of the service for 1 of our officers. Proper dress is required. Men wear a suit and tie or a tuxedo. Ladies a suit, knee length dress or evening gown – Indigenous Persons may wear their traditional apparel if they wish to do so. Please remember we are in a church and be respectful of the dress code. We encourage you to invite your friends to attend the service and black tie dinner following the service.
4. Black Tie dinner Saturday September 19, 2015 – No host bar at 5:00 pm –6:00 pm – Dinner from 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm The Black tie dinner will be held at The Marriott Riverside 3400 Market Street Riverside CA in “Salon A” Invitations will be mailed out to everyone by July 10, 2015 with dinner response cards and food selections so you may select the food you wish to enjoy that evening. We have included a vegetarian meal as well. 5 courses and desert – wine included. We have 3 very special Companionates of Merits and I have attached the press release for you. Cat Cora and Patrick Reynolds will be attending the service and black tie dinner- Dame Trish Steele will be accepting for Gavin McLeod as he is on The Princess Cruise Line Anniversary Cruise. Proper dress is required. Men wear a suit and tie or a tuxedo. Ladies a cocktail dress or evening gown – Indigenous Persons may wear their traditional apparel if they wish to do so. We have very special entertainment as well- Step and repeat red carpet with photographer and a book signing by Cat Cora. AND surprise guests attending !
5. If you have not paid your annual dues it is imperative that you do so immediately. This is a requirement.
We now take all credit cards and your dues and meals can be paid by credit card You must call me at 760-481-9773 in order to pay with your credit card. We are a registered 501C3 so any donations and a portion of your meal may be deductible. Check with your accountants.
